ADVERTISE WITH VIRTUAL-LANCASTER!

Run by volunteers whose backgrounds include journalism, the arts and public service, Virtual-Lancaster.net has been in operation for over eight years, offering a wide range of information and news about the Lancaster and Morecambe area.

The site currently (as of January 2008) has an average of over 1600 plus Unique Visitors per day and 50,000 plus visitors a month. You can view our web stats at: www.virtual-lancaster.net/webalizer.

We are now offering a limited amount of advertising on this site, subject to our usual terms and conditions of use.

You can advertise in several ways:

Events Listing
There is no charge for a simple events listing if your event is in our area. Simply send us your information and we will compile one. View our events page for format.
Please ensure any information includes date, event name, time, location, prices and contact information (preferably in that order).
E-mail the info to: The Virtual-Lancaster Editor at ed[AT]virtual-lancaster.net. (Please replace the [AT] with @)

If your event is taking place outside our local area then we charge £5 per entry in the What's On Calendar.

Business Directory Entry
There is no charge for a simple listing of businesses in the Lancaster & Morecambe Bay area, simply send us your information and we will compile one. View our directory for format.
However we do ask that you add a web link on your own site to Virtual-Lancaster if possible. E-mail us at ed[AT]virtual-lancaster.net for one of our small ads to put on a work noticeboard. Find out more below.

We do accept listings / advertising from selected businesses / organisations outside our area. Charges may vary.

To make your listing stand out, or to advertise your business on our site, why not promote yourself with a tile advert? These will be positioned on the right hand side of the page and can be placed in whichever section you choose.

We offer two formats:

Banner Advertisements
Banner advertisements are the best-known advertising format on the web. We offer one size banner ad, moving or static, placed at the foot of your your chosen page.

Advertising Design
If you would like us to design your ad we can do this for a small charge, based on copy and logos you supply. Prices available on request based on sight of design required.
You would of course have approval on any ad we designed prior to publication.
