Zoe Swiderski and Andrew Piggott, directors of Incutio received the award during an evening celebration of business achievement on Tuesday March 5th 2002. The award was sponsored by Shell, The Federation of Small Businesses, Flintshire County Council, OSR Business Partnership and Vaughan Davies. Andrew Piggott, Managing Director of Incutio, said: "We are delighted to have received this award and to be representing North-East Wales in the Welsh final of LiveWIRE in May. Over the past 12 months we've had to put everything into Incutio to demonstrate that we are different from the other technology and Internet companies and it is wonderful to be recognised for that effort. Our dedication to what we do and to giving back to the community is very rewarding." Both Andrew and Zoe are graduates (computing) of Lancaster University
and maintain strong links with the University, particularly with the Lancaster Incutio has now been trading for 14 months and provides technology services to a wide range of companies. It primarily develops interactive and content driven web-sites, but also provides hosting, e-commerce, design, training, customised development and business development services. Incutio works closely with small businesses and community sites in Lancaster and are building similar business relationships in North Wales. The company recently relocated to Wrexham, North Wales to expand and will recruit at least six new employees from the local area this year.
