Banned in UK’ hosted their first gig at ‘The Greaves Hotel’ Lancaster on Saturday. Pat and Bob the new proprietors of the Greaves opened their doors to re-establish The Greaves Hotel as a rockin  venue for innovative bands.

The transformation of the Greaves in the short time Pat and Bob have acquired it are clearly visible, new menus, refurbishment to rooms, excellent function room facilities,, and a more than warm welcome to all..

The night hosted by ‘banned in UK’ featured local lads ‘Sprungloaded’, an innovative, young, talented soft rock band with catchy melodies and stunning lead vocals, presenting all their own original material. (www.myspace.com/sprungloaded)

Then came ‘Aldehyde’ who certainly bring something new to the music scene today! A high octane performance, thrashing of passion, with so much energy on stage you don’t know where to look! An unbelievable live show and performance. (www.myspace.com/aldehydemusic)

‘Banned in UK’ will next be presenting more innovative bands at the ‘Rose and Crown’ Clitheroe on Friday 21st August, and they are back at the Greaves, Lancaster on Friday 28th August.
