USE STANDARD IMAGE FORMAT/STYLE

Keep images to this sort of size. Make sure you align the image (right or left) with the text. Put a 1px border on it and enter 10 for spacing settings

Image resolution should be 72dpi - higher resolutions will considerably increase file size and therefore download times - with absolutely no benefit to the viewer (monitor screens cannot display more than 72dpi)! File size should not exceed 20Kb, ideally 10Kb for an image like this one (above)!

Remember to add 'meaningful/descriptive' ALT tags to your images, to help visually impaired users, non-graphical browsers and search engines make the most of the site.

Of course there's always exceptions to the above!
