Lancashire spans a swathe of North West England. Its glorious west coast encompasses resorts such as Blackpool, Southport and Morecambe while inland the former mill towns of Preston Nelson and Burnley have many attractions.
The countryside is glorious, with Pendle, the Crook O'Lune and the Ribble Valley just some of the places you cannot afford to miss.
Beyond the county's border, Manchester lies to the county's south and the Lake District is a short distance from Lancaster and Morecambe.
